Founded in 2014, ETD Dance Studio emerged from the inspiring roots of the Education Thru Dance Outreach Program. Visionary Owner and Artistic Director Chan'nel Johnson recognized a gap in the Atlanta dance community: students graduating from her classes had no dedicated space to continue their training. Driven by this need, Ms. Johnson opened ETD Dance Studio, creating a vibrant home for dancers. Since its inception, ETD has touched the lives of hundreds of children, igniting their love for dance. Shortly after opening, Ms. Johnson launched The Dance Project Performance Company, the dynamic face and proud ambassadors of ETD. This nationally acclaimed company competes across the country and boasts members who have been accepted into prestigious colleges, universities, and dance programs worldwide. Ranked "The Best Ballet School in Mableton" by Quality Business Awards, ETD has taught hundreds of children to dance and continues to grow. With it's latest initiative, The Performance Academy, ETD is extending its reach beyond its doors to middle and high school-aged students who are passionate about dance. By collaborating with school-based instructors, ETD is crafting a curriculum that supplements their in-school learning and strengthens their overall skill.
